Cancellation Policy on Fishing Trips
Refunds on deposits can only be made if a 7 day notice is given on a cancellation or a rescheduling of the dates. If the captain cancels due to weather or unforeseen boat problems, a refund of the deposits will be issued. Deposits are lost if ANY cancellation or rescheduling is done without a 7 day notice.
Texas Weather
January is typically the coldest month, so be prepared to dress warm. Weather cancellations by the captain are usually made when there is lightning and heavy downpour. A light drizzle and cold weather will typically not result in the captain canceling a trip.
Fishing trips may be canceled by the captain if:
Winds exceed 35 mph.
Temperatures drops below 35°F.
This particular day was 45°F with a light drizzle and winds occasionally exceeding 30 mph. The pictures below show the result of some cold, wet, and windy weather days.
